Data Intern

Summary/Objective:

The Data Intern is responsible for performing a wide range of data entry services including importing, entering, reconciling, acknowledging and reporting donations and event registrations; entering demographic data into the Raiser’s Edge (RE); and, assisting at events. The Children’s Cancer Research Fund Data Intern is responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service to donors, prospects, event attendees, and internal staff.

Essential Functions:

Event Donation Entry and reconciliation

  • Event donation import and entry
  • Event attendee demographic data updates in Raiser’s Edge
  • On site event support as needed
  • Post event correspondence coordination

Great Cycle Challenge Data Maintenance

  • Research and correct foreign addresses for import
  • Research and correct incomplete addresses and missing donor information for import

Database Maintenance

  • Constituent appeal data imports for Raiser’s Edge and Luminate Online
  • Daily data sync importing for Raiser’s Edge and Luminate Online
  • Duplicate identification and maintenance for Luminate Online
  • Email data clean-up for Raiser’s Edge and Luminate Online.
  • Other constituent demographic clean up projects

Education and experience:

  • Data entry experience
  • Direct customer service experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel
  • 10-key experience

Other Details

Reports to: Database and Events Software Manager

Salary: $12.00 per hour

Part-time: Approximately 20 per week

This is an ongoing project with a Start Date: Immediately and no particular End Date: Open-Ended
