You can help by joining an existing fundraising event or starting your own fundraiser! Not sure where to get started? Here are some simple ways to get involved – pick the one that best suits you.
- Join us for a cycling challenge or a walk/run: Great Cycle Challenge and Time to Fly.
- Run for us: join Team CCRF in the 2017 Twin Cities Marathon or 10-Mile. You can also find an endurance event of your own and challenge yourself with health and fundraising goals. For more information, contact Bethany Stavran at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Double the meaning of your special day! If you have a birthday, anniversary or other special event coming up, use it as an opportunity to ask your family and friends to donate to fund childhood cancer research. You can do this by setting up a personal fundraising page!
Grow Your Fundraiser
Check out a few of the amazing fundraisers started by supporters of Children’s Cancer Research Fund! Their efforts have grown their fundraisers into incredibly successful events.
This event, now in its 7th year, is held in honor of Katie Jurek, who passed away from osteosarcoma in 2007. It has raised over $100,000 for childhood cancer research!
“Shots R US” started five years ago with a small group of passionate golfers and volunteers looking to support research. Today, this event has grown to 30 teams and raised over $35,000. Register for Friends of CCRF Golf Outing 2017.
Coming up on its 4th year, it has raised more than $20,000.

Please note: Children’s Cancer Research Fund cannot provide start-up money for fundraisers as we give as much money as possible to support childhood cancer research. We empower researchers to pursue bold ideas through early stage research grants which lead to innovative treatments that attract additional funding. Every dollar donated to us helps researchers generate $18 in federal funding and other sources.
